Visit Six Flags in Los Angeles

Six Flags Magic Mountain is known as the undisputed « Thrill Capital of the World, » featuring a record 20 world-class coasters – more than any other theme park on the planet — and is home to over 100 games and attractions for thrill-seekers of all ages to enjoy.

Thrills for All Ages

Six Flags Magic Mountain’s world-record 20th coaster – WONDER WOMAN™ Flight of Courage debuted July 16, 2022 as the tallest and longest single-rail coaster on the planet. This unique, high-thrill ride flies riders over 3,300 feet of track starting with a 13-story first drop, reaching speeds up to 50 miles-per-hour through a series of dives, twists and turns.

West Coast Racers launched into 2020 and unlike traditional coasters, this one-of-a-kind racing coaster features two side-by-side tracks with four individual high-speed launches. The race covers two complete laps, multiple airtime hills, extreme high-banked turns and exhilarating over/under near misses. A highlight of the ride is an immersive real time “pit stop” designed and produced by world famous West Coast Customs providing riders with a racing experience unlike any other.

CraZanity, standing at a record-breaking 17-stories in the air, reaches speeds up to 75-miles-per-hour, as it whips back and forth—higher and higher giving riders a staggering view of the world below them. It’s a mash up of craziness and fun in the newly themed Boardwalk area with renovated attractions including enhanced bumper cars and games.

Among the park’s world-class roller coasters and thrill rides are Twisted Colossus, one of the world’s longest hybrid coaster; Full Throttle, the world’s tallest and fastest looping coaster; LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, one of the world’s tallest vertical drop ride; Tatsu, the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster on Earth; and much more.

We haven’t forgotten our youngest guests. Within Six Flags Magic Mountain is one of Southern California’s largest children areas, Bugs Bunny World – a six-acre, interactive wonderland featuring numerous rides and attractions that provide thrills for kids and adults alike.

Powering Thrills by the Sun

Six Flags Magic Mountain is thrilled to announce the installation of a new 12.37-megawatt (MW) solar carport, being built over the main guest parking lot. This installation, in partnership with Solar Optimum and DSD Renewables, will rank as California’s largest single-site commercial renewable energy project, distinguishing Six Flags as a leader in the theme park industry around the world. The project began development in Fall 2023.

This 12.37-megawatt solar project with a 2MW/8MWh battery energy storage system can deploy 20.8 million kWh of energy annually, which is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 2,874 homes and 1.79 million smart phones charged. Upon completion, the park will be able to offset 100% of its energy usage with solar power.

For 62 years, Six Flags has been committed to protecting and improving the environment and its communities, striving towards the expansion of sustainability and ESG-related initiatives and efforts. Six Flags’ three sites, including Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Six Flags Great Adventure, will rank as the largest volume of onsite Solar PV systems for any U.S. organization, with a combined total of 43.37 megawatts. By actively working to reduce the environmental impact of its amusement park operations, Six Flags continues to make meaningful advancements in adopting solar power throughout its operations and otherwise reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
