A Music In The Parks festival provides a safe, fun, and educational end-of-the-year experience for school bands, orchestras and choirs.

An evaluated performance and amusement park visit offer a fun, educational goal after the Spring concert. Musical growth continues through the end of the year, motivating students to keep coming back!

Experienced instrumental and vocal teachers will offer suggestions on how to improve your ensemble’s performance. Our master teachers evaluate hundreds of ensembles throughout the course of a festival season.

Open to Bands, Choirs and Orchestras; grades K-12, schools can participate for Competition or Rating Only. Performances take place at local schools, and then you head to the park to enjoy the thrilling attractions that await! There is an Awards Ceremony at Six Flags St. Louis later that day to celebrate each ensemble’s achievement.

Award ceremony begins at 5pm in Old Glory Amphitheatre.
