Your Guide to our 2015 Fireworks Competition

An overview of the shows this summer

L'International des Feux Loto-Québec features eight all-new pyromusical shows to light up the night skies this summer. Here’s an overview of the shows you can expect to see during the 31st edition of the world’s most prestigious fireworks competition. Click here to learn more about the competition.

Salute Our Troops – July 1
The program kicks off on Canada Day with a tribute to our troops. Musicians of the Royal 22nd Regiment have created a custom soundtrack to accompany the display that relives the rise of the legendary Regiment.

Vive la Différence – July 4
England’s visual display celebrates diversity and differences, including man and woman, young and old, high and low, and horizontal and vertical. The soundtrack is a unique variation of styles ranging from Ellie Goulding to Coldplay and Bruno Mars. The presentation is put on by Jubilee Fireworks, who is making its debut in our competition.

Pyro Rock ‘N Roll – July 11
Italy’s pyrotechnic performance honors the history of rock ‘n roll. A variation of colors, shapes, and effects synchronize beautifully with a rock soundtrack. The music revisits hits from Bill Hayley, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and more. A.P.E Parente is behind this display and is a newcomer to our competition.

Armageddon – July 15
Award-winning Canadian group Archangel Fireworks Inc. is participating for the first time and presents Armageddon. This pyromusical fable takes viewers on a journey to the end of the world with an eclectic soundtrack featuring the music of Gary Jules, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, and more.

On the Road Again – July 18
Hong Kong’s pyrotechnic group, Vulcan, returns for its second year in the competition with an all-new show. The display takes you on a magical road trip around the world, highlighting favorite spots and famous landmarks. This journey is set to music by Queen, Guns N Roses, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Metallica, and more.

The Seasons of Life – July 25
The United States will put on a dazzling display of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons set against the emotional story of life. The soundtrack mixes Vivaldi’s classical music with Johnny Cash, David Guetta, and more to explore life’s seasons and the journey along the way. This show is designed and produced by Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks.

Dynamite Circus – July 29
France’s production invites you to participate in a pyromusical circus, featuring fun, humour, and emotions. For its first participation in the program, JCO puts on a spectacle of imaginary artists to create an artificial circus of entertainment. The show is accompanied by the music of Stan Getz, Brigitte Fontaine, and more.

Tribute to Madonna – August 1
La Ronda and PyroSpectaculars by Souza will end the competition with a tribute to one of pop music’s most famous icons. The extravaganza will honor the pop diva’s various musical stylings, with singles like Lucky Star, Vogue, and Ray of Light. This explosive finale will get you into the groove and end your day with a bang.
