Parent Guide to Fright Fest Extreme
At Six Flags Great Adventure, we understand your child’s safety is the utmost important to us. To ensure ease of entry and experience at Fright Fest Extreme, we recommend the following guidelines.
ADMISSION
- A separate ticket is no longer required for Fright Fest Extreme. Haunted Mazes are not included for all Pass Holders and a Haunted Maze Pass is required to enjoy maze attractions.
- Guests without a Fright Fest Extreme Maze Pass may purchase at one of the various locations throughout the park.
- Six Flags Great Adventure will NOT offer No Boo/No Scare bracelets/necklaces.
PICK UP/DROP OFF
- The new drop off/pick up checkpoint is located on the right-hand side after you enter the property through the Main Gate. Please follow the posted signage.
- Please ensure you have phone communication with your child in case of separation.
COSTUMES
- Guests over the age of 12 are NOT permitted to wear costumes. Costumes following our standard policies are reserved for younger guests under 12 attending our Boo Fest event.
MINORS & CHAPERONE POLICY
- Fright Fest Extreme is not appropriate for Guests under 13
- All guests 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone age 21+ with a valid government issued photo ID to be admitted to, or remain in the park after 4:00pm on Fright Fest Extreme Nights.
- One chaperone may accompany no more than 10 guests aged 15 years old or younger per day.
- Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government-issued photo identification (Driver’s license, State-issued ID card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park for Fright Fest
Extreme. - Once a guest exits the park during Fright Fest Extreme, there will be no re-entry into the park.

- Season Pass Holders and daily ticket holders are able to enjoy all Fall events including Oktoberfest and Kids Boo Fest in the day and Fright Fest Extreme in the evening.
