THE HIRING PROCESS
Get paid to scare! Six Flags Fiesta Texas is hiring for the upcoming Fright Fest Season. We will be casting Scare Actors, Stage Managers, Haunt Technicians, Gate Keepers, Makeup Artists, & more.
- Complete an online application.
- Join one of our open audition dates or schedule an interview. Please bring two forms of I.D.
- If selected for a position, complete the same-day onboarding paperwork.
- Complete required “Ghoul School” training or necessary department training.
- Create the fear at this year’s Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Open Audition Dates:
- Saturday, July 12th – 4pm to 6pm
Friday, July 25th from 6pm until 9pm
Saturday, August 2nd from 2pm until 4pm
We are hiring for Scare Actors, Daytime Character Actors, Costume Characters, experienced Sliders, Stilt Walkers, Gate Keepers, Theatre Ushers, Stage Managers, Haunted House Technicians, & Makeup Artists for our Fright Fest Season.
Fittings & rehearsals begin mid- August. Must be able to work weekends in the fall. No previous experience necessary. Get ready to have a terrifyingly good time this Fright Fest season. Scare some guests, make some friends, have new experiences, and earn money while doing it. This year, enjoy Six Flags Fright Fest from the other side.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas Rehearsal Hall at HR
The 2025 Fright Fest season opens on Saturday, September 6th and runs through Sunday, November 2nd.
Auditions will be held onsite at the Entertainment Rehearsal Hall.
Audition parking is available in the Six Flags Fiesta Texas Employee Parking Lot. Enter and sign in at the Security Station. From there you will be directed to the Rehearsal Hall area. Applicants can call the Entertainment Office at (210) 697-5583 or (210) 697-5483 for more information.
Be the fear during Fright Fest. Hiring Haunted house actors, street scare actors, gate keepers, theater ushers, stilt walkers, Stage Mangers, and more!
Must be at least 16 years old. Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in. If applying for slider role please wear steel-toe boots or sneakers that can be taped.
SHOWS & HAUNTED HOUSES
Do you have a passion for makeup? Are you an experienced and skilled makeup artist with a desire to create something beyond the typical? Join our team of Fright Fest Makeup Artists and together we can work to create memorable and iconic zombies, monsters, and things that go bump in the night. Work in the fast-paced environment of Fright Fest Entertainment creating looks and designs for our scare actor performers. Apply makeup, prosthetics, assist with touchups and more. Makeup Artists must be able to provide a portfolio of previous work/ experience (online is fine). Previous airbrush experience is a plus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
STAGE MANAGERS
Join our team to manage the screams during Fright Fest by overseeing our Haunted Houses and Scare Zones and to keep our scare actors looking to die for!

SINGERS, DANCERS & MORE
Six Flags Fiesta Texas Entertainment Department is holding auditions for our upcoming Halloween season. Now casting for:
-Vocalists with a solid foundation in dance, strong stage presence, and a capacity for adaptability -Strong dancers who can sing
– Enthusiastic musical theatre performers

Audition Date – Sunday, June 29th from 1:00 – 4:00pm - Location – Six Flags Fiesta Texas – Entertainment Rehearsal Hall (17000 IH 10 West, 78257)
Singers, please be prepared to present your best 32 bars of music that showcase your talents. Have at least two songs in contrasting styles prepared. Please bring music without vocals or sheet music in the correct key. We will have an accompanist available. Vocal versatility is a plus. Please, no A ‘Capella. Singers, may be asked to learn a short movement combo. Please have an appropriate change of clothing ready.
Dancers, please be prepared to present one short dance routine (30 – 60 seconds) that best showcases your talents. You may be asked to sing or read for a role. Dance opportunities vary throughout the year and can range from Costume Character Performances to Face Dancers to Parade Dancers.
Musicians, please submit an audition reel/ link that showcases your talents, along with your resume/ experience, to be considered for a position. Online submissions can be sent to [email protected]. Please put “Musician” in the subject line.
Limited housing is available for out-of-town performers.

Do you think you have what it takes to make this year’s Fright Fest scarier than ever? Six Flags Fiesta Texas is looking for Makeup Artists with experience in special effects make up, theatrical, fantasy, and character makeup, prosthetic painting and application, and airbrushing experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Please bring a professional portfolio to audition. May be requested to demonstrate ability.

Do you think you have what it takes to make this year’s Fright Fest Scarier than ever? Six Flags America is looking for skilled and experienced individuals to join our award-winning Entertainment Team. Stunt Performers engage and entertain all park guests through high intensity performances.

SHOW USHERS, CHARACTER ESCORTS & AMBASSADORS
Help us make this year’s events the best one ever! As a member of the support team for Fright Fest & BOO, this position is responsible for assisting guests during shows in our various Entertainment venues as well as acting as an escort/ambassador for our characters and performers.
Must be 16 years old of age.
