On November 10-12, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will honor and celebrate all who served. Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel will be given complimentary park admission with valid military ID. 

Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel are eligible to receive complimentary park admission.
Family of veterans, active duty and retired military personnel are eligible to receive: $19.99 park admission (up to 4 in group)

Valid Military ID required, and all redemptions will take place at the front gate. The park is open 12pm – 6pm. 

Not a Veteran? No problem! Veterans Weekend is a time for everyone to celebrate. Bring your Six Flags Pass or purchase a ticket for a bonus weekend of all your favorite thrilling rides and attractions.

  • Veterans day was first known as Armistice Day, which was a way to commemorate the end of the first World War. 
  • Veterans Day is a day of remembrance for all who have honorable served our country. 
  • Honoring all veterans alive and deceased. 
  • We share a moment of silence at 11am in remembrance of all veterans.  
  • There was a name change proposed by President Eisenhower in 1954 to officially rename Armistice Day to Veterans Day.
